A whole new look, new curriculums for exceptional quality of education

Thai Binh Duong Primary - Middle - High School (IPS) is proud to be the first system accredited as a Cambridge international school under IGC Group in Dong Nai Province.

Built upon the quintessential legacy, in the school year 2021-2022 , IPS embraces a whole new look with additional curriculums aiming to increase access to international teaching approaches, foster students’ skills and knowledge needed for the ongoing global integration.

MODERN AND WELL-ORGANIZED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT 

At Thai Binh Duong Primary - Middle - High School (IPS), students are offered a top-notch learning environment and enabled by new facilities and supplemental classroom materials in the school year 2021-2022.

The school has completed an expansion of learning space with a 7-floor building – a separate building block dedicated to primary students with functional areas, playgrounds and learning areas tailored to each grade. A newly renovated and modern student-welcome hall is where parents can see a range of achievements of their children.

More investments are made into improving the learning environment through new Cambridge-accredited labs for a wide array of subjects such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics, Studio system, and Workshops,... where all creative and practical projects of students can come true. The modern and fully equipped Laboratory for Innovation and Scientific Research (Marker lab), in particular, is established to facilitate students’ innovation, scientific research, and STEAM activities.

* EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

Thai Binh Duong Primary - Middle - High School students are open to choosing from 2 programs according to their needs and abilities:Cambridge International (CAIE) - an English-led curriculum including English, Maths, Natural Science, and Social Science combined with MOET national academic curriculum. Students following this curriculum will study with native teachers, allowing an in-depth interaction with academic English language.Cambridge English (ESL+), on the other hand, is also an English enhancement program covering English, Natural Science, and Social Science combined with MOET national academic curriculum where students learn with native teachers – a more suitable option for those who wish to improve their English proficiency.

In the pursuit of student-centered education, IPS offers a variety of extracurricular activities and study projects for each grade. The most popular is “Luu giu Hon Viet” (Preserve the Soul of Vietnam) – a large-scale study project launched among grade 8-12 students for the first time. Under this project, middle school students can travel to several regions across Vietnam to experience and make products that embody Vietnamese cultural values. Primary students are also offered opportunities to discover health and social work-related projects where they can substantially expand their mindset and skills with a broader vision.

At the same time, IPS offers cutting-edge learning methods and the latest Cambridge international curriculums, maintains and develops highly efficient models : Model United Nations (MUN), - for example, is a regular club activity of model UN simulations structured to increase students’ English skills and communicate with their international peers. The initiative is deemed an effective learning environment for young diplomats to interact and hone necessary soft skills. The TED-Ed Student Talks Program developed by the TED Council supports teachers and students who wish to have regular face-to-face discussions and debates to explore new ideas.

Personal development program “Leader in Me” is also launched at IPS in the school year 2021-2022 (Franklin Covey’s Copyright - the U.S). Over 3,000 schools across the globe have adopted this program to prepare students with good personalities, qualities and habits for the cultivation of self-discipline, better study, personal growth, and comprehensive development for future generations of successful and helpful citizens.
