Reading culture has been strongly integrated into every activity of Thai Binh Duong Primary - Middle - High School since the school year 2020-2021. Students are encouraged and allowed to spend 15 minutes reading their favorite books during morning meetings, as well as to be creative through many book-related activities and the “Growing up with books” event. As a result, children are instilled with reading culture that keeps flourishing over time, thereby helping children quickly grasp and absorb the knowledge of the world.
At the end of April, to spread the joy of reading to their peers, IPS’s primary students gave a very meaningful gift to students of Tam Phuoc Primary School. That is the “My Library” project, funded by social work and other activities during the school year by IPS students. “My Library” is a place where Tam Phuoc students can learn and share knowledge through reading activities.
The great writer Maxim Gorky once said: “Love books, a source of knowledge. Only knowledge can be useful.” The quote has affirmed the great values that books bring to humanity: the endless source of knowledge. In the new school year, IPS will provide its students with more new books and a creative reading space at the school library in order to spread the passion for reading to every student.
